Nrsimha Caturdasi and SRS vyasa puja

Dear Devotees
Please accept my blessings, all glories to Srila Prabhupada.

I want to thank you for the guru daksina you offered this Vyasa-puja. While my needs are taken care of by the Hungarian yatra, it is our tradition that the disciple not only offers a token of his gratitude, but also that he ensures the maintenance of his guru. This was recorded in correspondence between Bhaktivinoda Thakura and his guru, to whom he gave regular donations.

But since the yatra cares for my needs, what do I do with the laksmi? I use it for the development and beautification of Krsna Valley and Budapest temple.

From donations this year we finally paved the main entrance to NVD; we dredged both lakes; made a paved parikaram path around our Giriraja; made replicas of Seva Kunja and Nidhuvana with paving, arching trees and bushes, as well as pavilions; repainted, varnished, upgraded the 14 red pavilions of the main holy places; renovating the main devotee kitchen; erected enamelled aluminium bas-relief of pastimes by the goshala; and many other smaller projects like establishing holy places, building outside altars etc.

Then in Budapest we have repainted the two buildings, and completed the whole front of the building with a decorative wall and so on. And we have new paintings of Gaura lila in temple room.

OK that’s enough. I think you get the idea.

So thank you all again for donations large and small. I appreciate them equally and see the list of all donors even if I dont personally receive the donation.

I wish you all a good year in Krsna consciousness, full of quality chanting, hearing and association.
Your ever well-wisher in Srila Prabhupada’s service
Sivarama Swami

„By the mercy of the spiritual master one receives the benediction of Krisna. Without the grace of the spiritual master, one cannot make any advancement. Therefore, I should always remember and praise the spiritual master.
