21st issue - Nitya-seva newsletter

 Dear Devotees,

Summer is here and Radha-Syama Are receiving so many visitors every day!  It is wonderful to see how the beauty, tranquility and purity of Krishna Valley fascinates people, along with how the devotees introduce the dhama to the guests with great expertise, not just the dhama, but the temple altar too, which is the heart of Krishna Valley.  Radha-Syama’s charm melts their hearts and they all leave with a broad smile, deeply satisfied.  Most of them don’t even understand the precious treasures received during their short visit:  they chant the holy names, associate with devotees, partake of prasadam, receive the darshan of Radha-Syama, even serving Them by fanning Their Lordships with the peacock feather fan in front of the altar!  Each one of these actions is a priceless gem in itself, and the truly fortunate have the opportunity to take advantage of those gems by choosing as many as they wish.

Nitya-sevawise the greatest achievement from previous months was that another kind devotee, Mohan prabhu joined our team.  We don’t have to introduce him to the members of the Hungarian yatra as he has contributed more than ten years of book distribution with great results.  Besides that, he sometimes took part in fund-raising with different projects.  In the next few years he will be in involved in the  spreading of the glories of Radha-Syama and Gaura-Nitai in Hungary as part of the Nitya-seva team.  He has already spoken to many devotees about Nitya-seva, and in case you meet him when you visit Hungary next, please give him a warm welcome!

At the beginning of June we also joined together at the annual Bhakta Sanga gathering held in Budapest, where we remembered the past 30 years of our yatra.  We had a Nitya-seva workshop too, and since the Nitya-seva project is about the maintenance of the Hungarian Dieties, we compiled a questionnare for the devotees about the Dieties worship.  We were curious to know if they knew the basics of what is happening around Gaura-Nitai at Budapest, and Radha-Syama at New Vraja Dhama and we spoke about how these different activities are connected to Nitya-seva.  Since most of you were not able to join in, you can read the questions clicking here, and we will post the answers in our next newsletter.  Until then you can take a guess, meditate on the answers or even try to do some research if you are not sure of something.

At the end of the month we had a team of devotees headed by Krishna Lila devi dasi who were shooting two films here in New Vraja Dhama. The first one will be introducing Krishna Valley and the magic of Radha-Syama, the second one will be about the Nitya-seva project, which will include donors speaking about what inspires them in their service to Radha-Syama, and how the Divine Couple reciprocate with their efforts.  Be prepared - both will be wonderful!

Regarding the payments of the previous month:  2 devotee families completed their full Nitya-seva sponsorship and a new family from Dubai started a new one.  Many thanks to them and to all of you for your kind donations!

July is a month in the diary where there are many days still waiting to be sponsored.  In this case it might be easier to list the days that are already booked: 5th, 8th, 13th, 14th, 21st, 23rd, 26th, 29th and 31st. Except for these days all others are available!
